The other day my girlfriend and I were having dinner and thought it would be nice to go see a movie. Problem was, we were at Burger King and didn’t know at what time our movie was starting. It was just one out of many moments in my life where I said : that’s why we’ll soon have access to the internet from anywhere, at anytime. Well, we’ve been able to do almost that for a while now. However, browsing the internet from a mobile has never been a funny experience for me. I think that’s why more and more companies will get products out to make it a lot easier and fun, very soon.
The Opera Mini is a neat web browser for your mobile. It features RSS feeds management, skins, bookmarks etc… All the standard features of a common browser. Here’s a 1 minute introduction video to Opera Mini :
I didn’t try it yet on a mobile, but I did try the Opera Mini 3.1 simulator to see how RandomBuzz.net would look in a mobile. Here’s what it came down to :

I never optimized this site to be viewed through a mobile so I can’t say that I’m very surprised that it doesn’t come out perfectly. However, I can note these very neat things about the rendering of the site :
